Together for the Health of the Smallest - A Guide for Parents

Dear parents and relatives,

Welcome to our online platform "Together for the health of the smallest - A guide for parents". We have created four different workshops for you on the subject of hygiene in our neonatal intensive care unit K3 to help you find your way around a neonatal intensive care unit and develop a better understanding of the hygiene guidelines.

We appreciate you taking the time to attend these workshops and hope that you can take away valuable information and practical tips to promote the health and safety of your child.

As parents and relatives, you play an important role in the care process of your child in the intensive care unit. Good hygiene is crucial to minimise the risk of infection and support your child's recovery.

Please remember to fill in the feedback form afterwards (you will receive this at Station K3) so that we have the opportunity to further optimise the online platform.

This online platform with the various workshops was developed as part of the specialist training for paediatric intensive care and anaesthesia care. This project is the result of a collaboration between nursing staff from Herford Hospital, the Heart and Diabetes Centre Bad Oeynhausen and the Johannes Wesling Clinic Minden.

We hope you enjoy discovering new information!
